Albert Rovers F.C.

Albert Rovers F.C. was an Irish football club who played in the Football League of Ireland. Based in Flower Lodge in Cork, Ireland the club joined the league in 1976 and was expelled in 1982.
The club changed it's name to Cork Alberts F.C. in 1977 and to Cork United F.C. in 1979. The club was expelled in 1982 due to financial problems.
Outside of its League of Ireland membership, Albert Rovers existed for many years, winning its first trophy in 1950. The club is still in existence today, and plays at a local level in Cork.
