Albert E. Bowen

Albert Ernest Bowen (1875 - 1953) was a high-ranking official of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was born October 31, 1875 at Henderson Creek, Idaho.
He was baptized in 1883.
Married Aletha Reeder 1902.
Served mission to Switzerland and Germany.
Graduated from Brigham Young College in Logan, Utah.
Earned Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree 1911.
Married Emma Lucy Gates 1916 after the death of first wife.
He was ordained an apostle on April 14, 1937 after the death of Alonzo A. Hinckley.
He died on July 15, 1953 at Salt Lake City, Utah, and was succeeded by Richard L. Evans.
