Steve Hites - Singer/songwriter from Skagway, Alaska. Performing professionally in Alaska's saloons and dancehalls since 1973, and for concerts on cruise ships in port at Skagway since 1986. Albums: "Yukon Legacy" (recorded live at the Red Dog Saloon in Juneau, July 1978); "Inside Passage" (1992, remastered in CD 2001); "Life on the Railroad" (1993). Early moniker was "The Singing Conductor" because he worked on the White Pass & Yukon Railroad. Has performed on the road in 27 states at last count, and looking to hit all 50 "before he has to hang it up". stevehites@skagwaystreetcar.com
