Alain Krivine

Alain Krivine (born 10 July 1941 in Paris) is a leader of the Trotskyist movement in France. He was a leading member of the Ligue Communiste Révolutionnaire (LCR), which is the French section of the United Secretariat of the Fourth International, until his resignation from its political bureau in March 2006. He was also a member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2004.

Krivine was one of the leaders of the May 1968 riots in Paris, and was the last of the "Old Guard" on the political bureau of the LCR.
