Al tazaj

Al Tazaj is a chicken BBQ Arabic restaurant which started and is based in Saudi Arabia, but has since expanded to many countries in the Middle East.
The first location was opened in 1990 by in Mecca. It's parent company, Fakieh Poultry Farmsy, is owned by Sheik Abdul Rahman Fakieh.

The restaurant serves limited meals including, rice and kofta (long meat balls), kofta sandwiches, whole chickens with rice, fries, chicken wings, in addition to a few local meals depending on the country. Their specialty is to serve wood charcoal grilled chicken which is butterflied marinated in garlic and lime sauce. Half or whole chicken is served with freshly baked pita bread or rice or cob of corn. Chicken versions of Saudi meals are also served in Saudi Arabia, including Chicken Mandi and Chicken Kabsa. The chain has been franchised in countries outside Saudi Arabia including, Egypt, Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain and Malaysia and the United States where it is known as 'TAZA'.
