Albert Arnold Gore III (born 1982) is the son of former United States Vice President Al Gore and Tipper Gore and the grandson of former United States Senator from Tennessee Al Gore, Sr. He is best-known for being mentioned in an emotional vice-presidential nomination acceptance speech by his father during the 1992 Democratic National Convention.

In April 1989, Gore was the victim of a near-fatal car accident while attending a baseball game in Baltimore, Maryland. His father chose to stay near him during the recovery. This was discussed in his father's 2006 book, An Inconvenient Truth[1] and in the 2006 documentary of the same name.[2]
