[edit] Story

The game centres around the voodoo priest and warrior Akuji (voiced by Richard Roundtree), who had his heart ripped out on his wedding day by his brother, and through the use of voodoo magic is now cursed to wander through hell. Akuji has a chance for revenge however: if he traverses hell and collects the souls of his ancestors then the loa Baron Samedi will grant him safe passage out of the underworld.
