Akrab (Heb. עקרב; plural Akrabim, Heb. עקרבים) is an ancient instrument used for tortures. It is a whip that includes metal balls inside it. It has been referred to by Rehabam: "My little finger is thicker than my father's waist. He has tortured you with whips, and I will torture you with Akrabim."
