Akpo Sodje

Akpo Sodje (born January 31, 1980) is an English professional footballer of Nigerian descent. He currently plays for Port Vale after joining in the summer of 2006 from Darlington, after previously having an unsuccessful spell at Huddersfield Town. He has four brothers who also play football: three of them professionally and one semi-professionally.

His brother Sam Sodje currently plays for Reading after a summer signing from Brentford. His brother Efe Sodje currently plays for Southend United He has represented Nigeria at international level and was in the squad for both the African Cup of Nations in 2000 and World Cup 2002. His brother Onome Sodje left Charlton Athletic in Summer 2006, and his brother Steve Sodje currently plays for Hampton & Richmond.
