[edit] Art Bell
I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. The edit I recently reverted on that page that I called "not very informative" -- sarcastically, since it was in fact a very silly bit of text indeed -- was made by an anonymous user and consisted of the following:
- While Mr. Bell lives within a stone's throw of several brothels, there has never been any report of him visiting any of them or interviewing any of the denizens, even though there have been scattered reports of some of the operators there having come from another planet. This does not rule out, however, anyone associated with the brothels being allowed to stay in Mr. Bell's Winnebago.
You can see the diff for yourself if you don't believe me [1]. As you can see, this has nothing to do with the connection between book and movie, of which I am quite well aware and would never dream of removing from the article.
Incidentally, new comments customarily go at the bottom of a talk page. A simple way to start a new thread on a talk page is to click on the "+" next to the "Edit this page" link, which prompts you for a section title and automatically adds the edit to the bottom. Also, to sign your comments to make them easier to identify, just add 4 tildes to the end (like so: ~~~~) which is converted to your username (with a link to your user page) and a timestamp. I just did a quick investigation. You added the bit about the movie as an anonymous user yourself, 68.59.249.177, back on December 6. Unfortunately, there followed soon after a number of vandal edits also made by anonymous users, and they were reverted by LordBleen on December 7 in this edit: [2]. His inclusion of your edit in his revert seems to have been accidental -- careless of him perhaps, but not malicious.
Please don't assume that a change you see happened with the most recent edit. The Watchlist only shows you the most recent edits, but several edits may have happened since the last time you looked. You can see a list of all edits by going to the History tab for the article. You can compare two versions by selecting them with the radio buttons to the left of each line and clicking on the "Compare selected versions" button. - Don't worry about it. It's an easy mistake to make if you're not too familiar yet with Wikipedia's features. (And I have made an occasional stupid edit in the past, after all!) TCC (talk) (contribs) 07:58, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

How in the blue hell do you dropout of TENNESSEE?!? Good grief the school that's most known for being a diploma mill, and you couldn't even finish??!? And you are running around editting Wikipedia entries?!?
Amazing.
- First of all, just because I dropped out doesn't mean I couldn't hoof it, there are other reasons for dropping out of school. In my case, it happened to be that I am dealing with addiction and depression issues. Your insinuation that I shouldn't be editing Wikipedia articles is silly. For your iformation (and not to brag) I graduated my high school with a 3.56 GPA (taking honors classes I might add) and I made a 28 on the ACT, both of which are far above average. Secondly, I have to wonder where you get your idea that Tennessee is "most known for being a diploma mill" because that is hardly the case. The place has one of the best non-ivy league law schools in the country, and they are above in beyond in music performance. --akijikan 20:36, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Email address
I notice that you exposed your email address on your user page. Please be aware that you don't need to do this. If visitors to your user page look at the "toolbox" on the left side of the screen below the search box, they'll find a link, E-mail this user which they can use to sent you an email via Wikipedia's interface. They don't see your email address unless you choose to reply to them.
The trouble now is that if you decide you don't want the spammers of the world to be able to grab your address this way, it's still in the page history unless you ask an admin to delete it. TCC (talk) (contribs) 21:25, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
