Akizuki Fumitane

Akizuki Fumitane (秋月文種, 1512-1557) Akizuki Fumatane, daimyo of the Akizuki, and warlord of the Chikuzen Province following the Sengoku period of the 16th century. Fumatane became a retainer under the likes of Ōuchi Yoshitaka during the year of 1541. Fumatane then on become a vassal of the Otomo once Yoshitaka died.
After Fumatane made good relations towards that of the Mori, Fumatane rebelled against them. This only led up to being attacked by a 20,000-man Ôtomo army commanded by Tachibana Dosetsu and Usuki Akihaya. Fumatane ended up committing suicide, with one of his child's being spared and protected by the Mori.
