Akira Warabi

Akira Warabi (蕨明 Warabi Akira?) is the name of a fictional character from Kiyohiko Azuma's manga works. He played a semi-leading role in Wallaby and a minor role in Azumanga Daioh.

While he was alive, since he was handsome, there were many women who yearned after him, including Kokoro Kosaka. He encountered a traffic accident at way home of the family travel, and became a dead person. An angel, however, saved his soul.
The angel Rari Raru Rara had been received the promotion exam. As the subject, she had to make the selected human happy. Akira was the one.
Rari feared that her scandal is disclosed in which the chosen person died while she had let out of sight and that she fails in the examination. So she stuffed his soul into sewing-basis made by Kokoro temporarily as the time earnings for investigating how to return him to the living human being. She hid the fact that her purpose was promotion and she coaxed him as if she was his savior. --"Oh, a very unhappy occurrence. You, such a good man, have died. You could have not died."-- Akira believed her talk firmly completely and got Kokoro's room to shelter himself.
At first, he had expectation like lewdness in living in a ripe, suggestive girl's room. This hope was crushed soon. He got to know that Kokoro is a violent woman immediately and came to avoid her. The miserable days continued which he could not even come out from her room. One day, her relative, Emi, visited her house and brought home him, who is visible only to ordinary sewing-basis to bystanders. Kokoro was sad about his having disappeared. She reflected on how she was treating him roughly until now, and misunderstood, thinking that he disappeared because he didn't like her anymore. And the tale is to a finale.

He also makes his entrance in Azumanga Daioh, though less conspicuosly than Kokoro.
