Akin Ayodele(pronounced A-Dell) (born September 17, 1979 in Irving, Texas), is an American football linebacker who plays for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

Ayodele was a three-year starter at defensive end at Purdue University. He transferred from Coffeyville Community College. He finished his career with 194 tackles (131 solo), five fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and 11 pass deflections. He was named the Jimmy Rogers, Jr. Most Valuable Lineman at the 2001 Wells Fargo Sun Bowl.

Ayodele was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played with the Jaguars for 4 years, recording his best season in 2003 with 115 total tackles, 1 sack, and 2 interceptions. In 2006 he signed a five year contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Coincidentally, as a child growing up in Irving, Ayodele was a ballboy for the Cowboys.

Named first-team All-Big Ten as a senior and second-team All-Conference as a sophomore and junior. Tied with Jeff Zgonina for second on Purdues career-record list with 29 sacks, topped only by Rosevelt Colvin with 33.
