Akhil
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Akhil is a word in Hindi and Sanskrit that means "all", "entire", every", "complete" or "whole". It is also used as a name for men in India. Nikhil is a similar-sounding synonym of Akhil in Hindi and Sanskrit. Nikhil is a more commonly used male name amongst Hindus, whereas Akhil is not so popular. However, Akhil is almost exclusively used for substituting "all" when used in organizational names as "All-India Student' Council", which translates to "Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad" in Hindi.
