I've recently nominated your redirect page, Gori (city in Georgia), for deletion. I've also repaired the disambig link that pointed to this page to now point to Gori, Georgia. And as for Gori Region, please note that we do not create duplicate articles on different titles. If we change our minds about a title, we use move. If we feel multiple titles are appropriate, we use #redirect. -- RHaworth 13:06, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
I have created a new article Giorgi Kartvelishvili and it cannot be found via search bar when you write kartvelishvili' or any other less relevant word. It can only be found when you write Giorgi Karvelishvili (an exact name of an article). What is the solution? (Air sign 15:22, 29 March 2006 (UTC))
- This is quite normal, wikipedia's search system is only updated on a periodic basis, so it takes times for articles to appear --pgk(talk) 16:28, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- You may even find that Google indexes stuff faster than Wikipedia itself. But the Wikipedia index (ie. list of titles not a search database) is updated instantly (available at the top of a search results page and via Special / All pages). Oh - and if you wrote the article, you use my contributions !! -- RHaworth 20:31, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
