[edit] Brief information
Airliner World entered the magazine market in 2000. Major airlines such as British Airways, Thomas Cook, Gulf Air, Aeroflot, EasyJet, Air Slovakia, UPS, Iran Air, Southwest Airlines, Emirates, KLM, Lloyd Aereo Boliviano, Air China and Iraqi Airways have been shown on the magazine's cover.
Airliner World, as its name indicates, is dedicated to airlines and airliners. The magazine is renown for its comprehensive 21-page worldwide news coverage of aviation, as well as featured articles on regional and worldwide airports and airlines. It has faced stiff competition from a predecessor in the airline magazines field, Airliners Magazine. Another airline publication, Air International, does not represent competition, since both magazines are published by Key publishing. Airliner World is part of a group of many aviation magazines published by Key, including Today's Pilot, Air Enthusiast and Air Forces Monthly, and sister magazine, Airports of the world.
