Air Officer in Charge of Administration

The Air Officer In Charge Administration, is one of the Principal Staff Officers to the Chief Of Air Staff. The post is occupied by an Air Marshal of the Administration Branch of the Indian Air Force. He is generally either a Air Traffic Controller or Fighter Controller or a Pure Administration Branch Officer. Surprisingly out of the more than 25 Air Marshal level posts in the Indian Air Force, this is the only three star post authorised for an Admin Branch officer!!
