[edit] Background
The "Air Force" name is a reference to Air Force One, the plane that carries the President of the United States. The Air Force 1s were popular in the 1980s and then again in the 2000s. However the Air Force 2s have recently been created, and so their popularity is continuously growing. The originals were first released in 1982 and were not very popular but then in 1986 re-released and endorsed by Charles Barkley and Moses Malone.
[edit] Description
The shoe can be custom made to any which color, but typically it has either a white or black based background color with almost any color used to fill in the Nike Swoosh and back heel.
