AIB UK is a subsidiary of Allied Irish Banks. It is registered in the UK and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, operates as the legal entity for the division.

It trades under two names:

Allied Irish Bank (GB) in Great Britain. Here it is primarily a business bank.

First Trust Bank in Northern Ireland. Here it offers a full range of banking services, both to business and residential customers.
