Ahmet Köklügiller is a contemporary writer and influential educationist. He was born in Adana. After studying at Necati Eðitim Enstitüsü in Balikesir, he worked in Tarsus as a teacher. Later he lectured in Istanbul, and since 1957 he has been writing for magazines and newspapers. He is also an author of study and auxiliary books for schools.

His many years in service as a Turkish teacher earned him an image as a dedicated educationist, giving influential classes to his students.
