Ahmed Toprak

is a German pedagogue, author und docent for the prevention of violence among teenagers.

Ahmed Toprak was born 1970, lives in Munich and holds a degree in education.

His pedagogy is based on his experiences in trainings for the prevention of violence with young Turkish Germans.

Toprak pleads for a pedagogy of confrontation and provocation to confront the young adolescents with educational values such as "respect of authorities", "honour", "team building" and "belonging to a group", combined with an understanding of intercultural competence based on empathy and tolerance. The methods of the "principle of confrontation" include confrontating discussions, pedagogical training of interaction, and role play and theatre.
