Ah! Studying, My Family, and a Goddess! (Japanese: 「ああっ修行と我が家と女神さまっ」 - Aa! Shuugyou to Wagake to Megami-sama!) is the third episode of season 1 of the Oh My Goddess! TV series originally aired 2005-01-20.
After staying inside an abandoned car for the night, Keiichi and Belldandy set out the next day to look for a new place to live. Their quest for an affordable, but yet large apartment comes up short until a coincidental gust of wind (with a little help from Belldandy) blows away Keiichis 2,000 Yen bill to the Buddhist temple, Toriki Hongan. Following his money, Keiichi gets attacked by Koshian-sama who mistook him for a thief stealing offerings. As an apology for the attack, Koshian allowed Keiichi to stay for the night with a meal, only if they also helped to maintain the temple. Koshian was observing Belldandy clean the Buddha altar when he noticed her aura. Unsure of what it meant he followed and observed her every move. He watched in amazement as Belldandy rescued Keiichi from falling off the roof by commanding the wind to move the leaves over to him. Fearing that Belldandy may be a demon in disguise, he camps outside of the room that she and Keiichi are staying in to wait for her true form to be revealed at night. That night, Belldandy emerges from the room and begins to sing with her angel, Holy Bell, and restores the temple to its original beauty. Koshian awoke to Belldandy's song and witnessed the power of Belldandy and Holy Bell. Believing that Belldandy has obtained true enlightenment, and calling himself "green" Koshian leaves for a pilgrammage to obtain the "level of enlightenment" that Belldandy has reached, thus leaving Keiichi and Belldandy to care for the temple until he returns.
