Ah! Being an Adult is Heart-Throbbing? (Japanese: 「ああっドキドキは大人の味っ？」 - Aa! Doki Doki ha Otona no Aji?) is episode number 26 of season 1 of the Ah! My Goddess (TV) series that was not aired. However was released on DVD on 2005-12-23.

Due to continuing problems in Yggdrasil, Skuld ages into an adult. Excited by this, Skuld decides to experience adulthood to the fullest. However similar to Urd and Belldandy (who are cut off from their power source due to Yggdrasil's malfunctions), Skuld consumes massive quantities of ice cream as an alternate source of energy. Keiichi takes her to an ice cream shop and watches her eat a large carton of ice cream.

They next encounter the NIT Motor club, along with Megumi. Keiichi is put into a very awkward situation, as the Motor Club and Megumi infer that Keiichi is dating another girl aside from Belldandy. Skuld catches sight of Megumi's motorcycle, grabs it and takes off.

Skuld catches the eye of Toshiyuki Aoshima and decides to tag along him to experience "flirting" (which she had apparently read about in a book). After emptying out a restaurant of its ice cream stock, she begins to feel uneasy around Aoshima and refuses to follow him. Aoshima demands that she come with him as repayment for the ice cream she had eaten. Skuld attempts to escape, but finds herself cornered at a staircase. Keiichi and Belldandy (in her shrunken form) manage to arrive before Aoshima is able to try anything. Skuld jumps off of the staircase and onto Keiichi's bike, and orders Keiichi to drive away as fast as possible. Urd appears (seemingly out of nowhere) and punishes Aoshima for trying to force her sister with a bolt of lightning.

Meanwhile Keiichi takes Skuld home again, but after some thought she asks Keiichi to take her out again. She notes that Aoshima's touch "felt cold", but doesn't mind being touched by Keiichi at all. He takes her to downtown Nekomi again, and she asks where to go next. Keiichi replies that the only places he's familiar with are the recycling and junk shops, and asks Skuld if there's anyplace she would rather go in her "present self". The two visit a department store, where Skuld tries out makeup, high-heels, and clothing. Her inexperience with each of these products leads to awkward situations. However, she again enjoys her new appearance as an adult, and Keiichi seems to as well.

Keiichi and Skuld leave the department store to the sound of an ambulance siren. Doctors are seen wheeling Sayoko Mishima away in a stretcher. The department store's saleswoman tells them she was to model a wedding dress for their bridal gallery, but came down with a sudden stomachache. She notes that Keiichi and Skuld look like "a cute couple", and asks if they could take her place. Both are extremely shocked at the offer and the notion that they are "a couple", but they oblige. Skuld feels tense during the photo shoot, and is blown away when the photographer asks for a shot of them kissing. He tells them they can just "fake it", but Skuld suddenly looks at Keiichi and wonders-could she be getting feelings for him herself? The two nervously close their eyes and lean in as the photographer snaps.

As the day winds down, the two head for the beach, with Skuld wondering what to say next. Back at the temple, Belldandy has finally awoken in her full-sized body, and tells Urd that Yggdrasil is back online. Urd tries to warn her that Skuld may fall for Keiichi as an adult. Belldandy doesn't seem to understand this, so Urd bluntly tells her that Skuld seems to love Keiichi as well. But Belldandy merely smiles and notes that "both Skuld and I love Keiichi", to which Urd facefaults, replying that they seem to have a stable relationship.

Meanwhile, watching the sunset, Skuld reflects on her fleeting adult self, how she was newly seen as an adult, and starts to recall how most people took her more seriously as an adult, but Keiichi had still treated her as he always did. Skuld wonders to herself if she could be falling for him despite their mental age difference. She turns to him and asks if he likes Belldandy. Keiichi replies that he does of course, and Skuld realizes that the hour is growing late, and she will soon be a young girl again. She tells Keiichi to turn his head and close his eyes and gives him a quick kiss. Keiichi opens his eyes and notices that Skuld is now her normal age again. Realizing how much she wants to be taken seriously as an adult, he says she can drive his motorcycle in the parking lot, but Skuld indignantly replies that he is "so dull".

Back home, Skuld sits in her room, gazing at her dress, wishing she could soon grow up. Urd mumbles that Skuld may have fallen in love with Keiichi, and feels she has to set things "right" somehow. As Skuld reminisces on her day, she hears Belldandy scream. Back into her unofficial role as chaperone of her older sister, she rushes to Belldandy's room, and is furious to see Keiichi lying atop Belldandy on the floor. Urd stands slyly behind them, hiding a tube of superglue behind her back. As Skuld rushes to attack Keiichi, she yells that she now hates him again, and things seem back to "normal". The camera returns to Skuld's room, and focuses in on the photo of her adult self and Keiichi in their bridal clothing, nearly kissing.
