Aguiluz

Aguiluz is a fictional character and one of the main protagonist in Mulawin, a telefantasya television series being aired by GMA Network in the Philippines. Filipino actor Richard Gutierrez portrayed Aguiluz.

Aguiluz is a Mulawin, a race of humanoid birds. He is cunning and a brave warrior who promised to watch over and protect the maiden Alwina, who is half-mulawin and half-human. He gave up being a Mulawin to be with her but as fate and destiny calls his best friend Aviona gave him back his "ugat-pak" (root wing); he then plunged it back to his lower spine and he became a Mulawin once again but since he was cursed, he would only be a Mulawin during the night. Unknown to him, Aguiluz is also a sugo (messenger / chosen one), like Alwina, that will end the evil of the Ravenas by going to the Mulawin tree. He only learned this after he was brought back from the dead by the Diwatas. When he returned from the dead, he was thrice as stronger and more powerful than he was before.
