The Agrafioti River (Greek: Potamos Agrafiotis) is a river that flows entirely in the Evrytania prefecture. The river owes its name to Agrafa, one of the largest communities and once the second largest in the prefecture. The river begins in the mountains of the north the prefecture and passes into its valley filled with only traces of farmlands, beautiful pine and spruce trees and its natural beauty with a few stone bridges, it passes west of Agrafa, and east of Palaiokatafga near its third major road of the prefecture and next to Tripotamia, named for its three rivers flowing with the Acheloos. The river empties into the tributaries of the Acheloos and the Megdova rivers (though not seen today) and into the Kremasta/Acheloos Reservoir, the largest in the nation.
