Ago Silde is the current governor of the Estonian county of Ida-Viru.

  • Between 1991 and 1995, Silde was the managing director of Raplamaa Union of the Estonian Association of Small Enterprises.
  • Between 1993 and 1994, Silde was the project manageer of the European Development and Reconstruction Bank in Turveruukki.
  • In 1994, Silde was the project consultant of the European Development and Reconstruction Bank.
  • Between 1994 and 2000, Silde was the director of the Kehtna School of Economics and Technology.
  • Silde was the President of the Narva Lions Club between 2001 and 2002.
  • Between 2002 and 2003, 'Silde was the chairman of the Management Board of Narva Region Restaurant and Hotel Owners Association.
  • Since 2004, Silde has been the governor of Ida-Viru.
