Agios Thomas (Preveza), Greece

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a small village about 5km from Preveza. It is set in an agricultural area but also has a busy harbour.

[edit] Eating and Drinking

There are 4 tavernas and a cafeneio. Savvas is the largest and is a popular location for family events due to its view over the harbour (although it is expensive in Agios Thomas terms.) The Daliani isn't as large or offer the same view but the food is excellent and reasonably-priced. Waiting staff are very friendly. Inhabitants of nearby Preveza frequently visit. The little seafood taverna on the seafront is also worth a visit. Pretty it ain't but it's right on the ocean, serves good fish and is again reasonably priced. However, don't expect any food before 8 o'clock. The final taverna is on the road out to Agioi Apostoloi and Skafedaki. Details to follow after our next trip, but I can say a good friend recently held his wedding reception there.
