Agerola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 35 km southeast of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,392 and an area of 19.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Agerola contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Campora, Bomerano, San Lazzaro, Pianillo, Ponte, and Santa Maria.
Agerola borders on the following municipalities: Amalfi, Furore, Gragnano, Pimonte, Positano, Praiano, Scala.
