Agecroft

Agecroft may refer to:
- Agecroft Hall, a Tudor estate on the James River in Virginia. It was originally built in Lancashire, England in the late 15th Century. It was the home of England's Langley and Dauntesey families before falling into disrepair at the end of the 19th century. In 1925 it was sold at auction. Richmonder Thomas C. Williams, Jr. purchased the structure, and had it dismantled, crated, and shipped across the Atlantic, and then reassembled in a Richmond neighborhood known as Windsor Farms.
- Agecroft Rowing Club, which currently operates from Salford Quays. There has, however, been rowing in Manchester and Salford since 1823, with more than 15 clubs operating during the 1860's. Agecroft RC was formed by the gradual merging of these River Irwell-based clubs. Agecroft RC was established in Oct 1861 by Ishmael Lythgoe with its first boat house in the grounds of Agecroft Hall at its original location before it was sold and rebuilt by the James River in Virginia, USA. The club regularly competes across the UK at all levels and has a broad membership base, from total beginners and juniors through to semi-professional athletes competing at international level. The club regularly hosts a small boats headrace in the winter and supports two Amateur Rowing Association Wold Class Start coaches.
