After the Mardi Gras is a novel by American author R. S. Pierpoint.

The stories in the novel revolve in and around New Orleans in the past, present, and future.

Some sections of the book are somewhat prophetic about Hurricane Katrina.

Pierpoint goes to some lengths in his discussions of the healing powers of love and possible redemption for all.
