Afshin Ghotbi

Afshin Ghotbi is an Iranian-American football coach who is working with the South Korean national team as an Assistant Coach to Pim Verbeek.

A former assistant coach of the US national team, he worked with the Korean team under Dutchman Guus Hiddink from December 2000 - July 2002 as technical analyst and under Dick Advocaat from October 2005-July 2006. He has a reputation as a forward-thinking coach.
