Afrin, Syria

Afrin (Kurdish: Efrîn, Arabic: عفرين ʿAfrīn) is a district of Aleppo Governorate, Syria, in a region known as Kurd-Dagh. The district consists of the town of the same name with 80,000 inhabitants, as well as 366 surrounding villages.
