The African Movement for Development and Progress (French: Mouvement africain pour la dévelloppement et le progrès) is a political party in Benin. At the last legislative elections, 30 March 2003, the party was member of the Presidential Movement, the alliance of supporters of Mathieu Kérékou, who had won the 2001 presidential elections, and won 9 out of 83 seats. The party won at the presidential election of 5 March 2006 3.25 % of the votes for its candidate Antoine Kolawolé Idji.
