Afon Taf High School

Afon Taf High School is a comprehensive high school for pupils aged 11 to 18, based in the village of Troedyrhiw in the borough of Merthyr Tydfil. It serves a large catchment area of surrounding villages in the Merthyr valley, from Pentrebach in the north to Bedlinog in the south. It was one of the schools that was built in the sixties to replace a local selective grammar school, in this case Quaker's Yard Grammar School.
