Unaltered photograph taken in Kabul the morning of 28 April 2006, during the official parade celebrating the 14th anniversary of the Mujahideen victory against Soviet armed forces in Afghanistan. Vantage point was within the diplomatic section of the official reviewing stands.

The photograph was provided to me 29 April 2006 on data CD by the photographer, an official guest at the parade who later authorised GFDL publication without attribution.

Tech data extracted from the original picture file: Panasonic DMC-FX9 (ISO 80 equiv.), 17mm focal length, F/10, 1/125sec exposure.
