Aerolíneas Internacionales

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aerolineas Internacionales was an airline that was forced to cease operations by the Mexican government in 2000. The airline operated flights from Cuernavaca to Acapulco, Tijuana, Aguascalientes, Hermosillo , Guadalajara and Mexico City and at the moment it was grounded was using a fleet of 7 Boeing 727 aircraft. The airline was shut down by aviation authorities due to alleged poor maintenance of their aircraft and security concerns although the airline was free of accidents. As of July 2005 , the airline still had slots at Mexico City and Cuernavaca's airports.
