Aerodrome can mean:

  • An Austrian music festival: Aerodrome
  • A series of aircraft constructed by Samuel Pierpont Langley.
  • A synonym for airport or airfield, although there are differences in usage (the term aerodrome typically implies a larger facility with several support buildings); but
    • it is also the Canadian legal name of any area of land or water that is used for aircraft arrival or departure. In Canada, airport refers to an aerodrome that is licensed by Transport Canada and maintains certain standards, including having a windsock and sufficient clear areas around the arrival and departure paths.[1]
