Aegidius Sadeler

Aegidius Sadeler (sometimes written Egidius) (c.1570-1629) was a Flemish baroque era painter and engraver. He was the brother of Johann Sadeler. Aegidius Sadeler engraved the print version of Tintoretto's painting of the Massacre of the Innocents.
His son Marco Sadeler was also a well known Dutch engraver of the early 17th century.
