The above is a quote from the article. What is it that art historians are unconvinced by. The results of the work done by Seracini, i.e. uncovering the drawings underneath later paint, surely aren't contested. It is the interpretation of these results that are contentious. The article should reflect his with a sentence like: Most art historians are currently unconvinced by Seracini's interpretation of his own results. --Dumbo1 19:58, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

The above isn't a quote from the article. It was, for about 5 minutes, before I reverted it to the earlier version. However, I think your final sentence is even better than the version I reverted to. Paul B 20:07, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
