Adolphe Boucard

Adolphe Boucard (1839-March 15, 1905) was a French ornithologist who collected extensively in Mexico and Central America. He concentrated in collecting hummingbirds and sold many of these to the plume trade. He published the periodical The Hummingbird (1891-95). He spent his later years in England on the Isle of Wight and died at his son's home in Hampstead.
