Izmir
Please discuss that on the Izmir page. --Awiseman 18:09, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Hey!
Welcome back! :) —Khoikhoi 00:22, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Welcome back
Hello Kagan and welcome back;). I guess u are interested in participating in the discussion on Wikipedia:Greek/Turkish naming conventions, in order to solve this matter once for all (if possible). About Izmir and my last revert of your edits, it is because of the neutrality of the source. a source by the governmental site of Turkey is far to be concidered neutral... If u insist in including it, make sure u not remove previously cited info, and have in mind that the "biased" Horton can be considered as neutral as the source u added. Regards and again welcome back. --Hectorian 06:02, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- OK, i think that the issue will be solved, if we settle down and discuss about it, instead of edit-warring. i won't revert Izmir for now (cause i want to show good will and cause i do not wanna break the 3RR:p). about Cretanforever... he doesn't seem to be willing to talk to me [1], [2], [3]. Reasonable or not, i will do my best to contribute for a solution. Have a nice day;). --Hectorian 06:31, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

- Slightly odd, cos you've posted that *after* I blocked William M. Connolley 10:53, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Sorry. I assumed block notices always stay at the bottom (for clarity) and then get removed when user gets unblocked.--TigranTheGreat 11:58, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Civility
Regarding this: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --InShaneee 21:17, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- I value civility but I value honesty and decency much more.--Kagan the Barbarian 07:39, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Regarding comments such as this: You have now been blocked for 24 hours for incivility and personal attacks. If you don't want this happening again, I suggest you start showing more respect to all other users, as your brand of 'honesty' is not looked well upon. --InShaneee 17:30, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- And for comments such as this: Consider yourself blocked until further notice. --InShaneee 19:02, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
ASALA
That's not the reason why I was reverting. A great deal of the article appeared to be a copyvio. Speaking of ASALA, check out this comment by Mu5ti, I found it to be quite interesting. —Khoikhoi 08:00, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Rather than being lucky, I'd prefer to hear your perspective on the subject ASALA ;) KertenkelebekⓉ 17:18, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
İnönü
Well, there's a school of thought according to which anyone who has origins east of Euphrates is Kurdish. I had corrected that article before. But since they are desperately in need of historical figures, I guess they could hijack anyone. Here's some info on his family based on Şevket Süreyya Aydemir: [7]. His father is issued from Kürümoğlu family of Bitlis. But that does not make him Kurdish. There are Kurds in his larger family, but that does not make him Kurdish either. His career did not make him Kurdish at all. --Cretanforever 14:47, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Baklava
That photo I took in one of my trips to Beypazari, they said to me that it was a kind of baklava special to Beypazari only. I know it looks good, it also tastes good, I ate that one ;) Kültigin (talk) 15:52, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
