Adeel Sheikh commonly known as Adi (born 4 November 1982 in Karachi, Pakistan) works in optical technology.

From his early childhood Sheikh was a creative and a jolly sort of person he always wanted to do something creative , so after doing his Pre engineering from Agha khan higher secondary school he joined the NED University of Engineering and Technology in the Computer and Information systems Engineering and did very well and passed with good grades. His main achievements during his undergrad life was his final year project Implementation Of Local lesed circuit based on DSL over ATM which was one of the best projects at that time. He received many appreciations and praises for his project. It was not his own achievement but a team effort. He was very lucky to have group members like hasan sajjad , Lal kumar and ofcourse Danish ( who later specialized in Optical Technology). He is now dong his MSC in telecommunication and Information systems fron the University of Essex

Adeel is currently working on optcal Networks over OCDMA and his efforts are clearly notifiable. His main efforts are working towards a 160 GB ethernet and a 3 way connection link of high speed transmission.
