Adil Ray is a British radio and television presenter born in Birmingham in England of Kenyan Pakistani Parents.
Graduated with a Degree in Marketing from the University of Huddersfield.

Became the first British South Asian presenter to present a mainstream Commercial Radio Show in the UK with his career beginning on Choice FM and Galaxy 105.

He joined the BBC Asian Network as a presenter in 2002 to present the late night Adil Ray Show from 22:00 to 01:00 on Weekdays, a primarily light news & music programme, from Monday 15 May 2006 this was moved to a new 16:00 to 19:00 slot and now focuses more on Current Affairs than the evening programme had and is exclusively an English Language programme. He sees himself as the 'bad boy' of radio.
He also co-presents Desi DNA on BBC TWO and has also lately been co-presenting the BBC Radio 4 programme Tales from Europe.
