Adib Khansari

Adib Khansari (1901-1982) was born in Khansar. His nickname was Adib but his given name was Esmaeil. He was start music from childhood. He interested to sing the classical Iranian poems. in a very good way and his first music teacher was Andalib Golpaygani in Khansar. When he was 18'th he moved to Isfahan. The famous place of gathering the Musicians in 1920. To be recognized with instructors kike deceased Seyed Rahim (for two years), Mirza Hussein Saatsaz (for two years) and Habib Shater Hadji. In1921 he was being the student of Nayeb Asadollah (The Ney Player). He had also the journey to Bakhtiari province to have some searching in the style of "Lori Music in Iran". In 1924 he had came to Tehran for the presence of the deceased Hussein Taher Zadeh, and also the deceased Hussein Esmaeil Zadeh. During his staying in Tehran he had close friendship with Morteza Mahjoubi (The Piano player) and beside the Setar playing he had got recognize to play Piano (Iranian Style) from Morteza Mahjoubi. After foundation of Tehran Radio station (1940), he was invited to be the top artists in this organization. There are so much recorded programs that remain from those years. The Community of "Barbad" established by close co-operation of Adib Khansari and Esmaeil Mehrtash, as a place for Theatre and Music.
