Adhyatmik Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Adhyatmik Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya (AIVV) is a spiritual organization that aims to transform the world into one family through the practice of Raja Yoga and the studies of Godly Knowledge. In order to understand the origin of AIVV one should go back to beginnings of Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya (BKIVV), the organization with headquarters in Mount Abu, a Hindu dharmakshetra (holy place) in Indian Rajasthan.

[edit] History

The history of BKIVV is connected with Dada Lekhraj - a diamond merchant from Sindh in Pakistan, who claimed to have experienced divine visions in 1936-1937. Brahma Kumaris maintains that at that time Shiva entered the corporeal chariot of Dada Lekhraj to initiate His work of world transformation through him.

The AIVV is centered in Kampil, because Shiva, in 1936-1937, first entered the body of Dada Lekhraj’s business partner, Sevak Ram, who ran the shop in Calcutta, Eastern Bengal. It was the body of Sevak Ram through which Shiva explained to Dada Lekhraj the meaning of the experienced visions, so Shiva started His divine task through Sevak Ram along with Gita Mata and Dada Lekhraj.

Initially the spiritual family created by Shiva was named Om Mandali. When Sevak Ram and Gita Mata left their bodies during 1947 and 1948, Shiva continued sermonizing murli and teaching Raja Yoga through the body of Dada Lekhraj. The organization changed its name to Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya and moved from Sindh to Karachi, next to Mount Abu in Rajasthan. In 1969 Dada Lekhraj (called Brahma Baba since Shiva entered him) left his body and BK Dadi Prakashmani took over the responsibilities of BKIVV administrative matters. That was the time when differences between BKIVV and AIVV started.

BKWSU Brahmins thinks that, since 1969, Shiva has been continuing His task without a human medium, but also that both Shiva and Brahma are being channeled together through a senior BK sister called Gulzar at BKWSU headquarters on Mount Abu. AIVV Brahmins claim that after 1969 the spirit they believe to be God entered another man and through this man God has been continuing his unfinished work. This "chariot," Mukrar Rath, is the body of Virendra Dev Dikşit, resident of Kampil in Uttar Pradesh. The PBKs believe that he is the re-incarnation of the soul who in his previous birth was Sevak Ram – the partner of Dada Lekhraj and Shiva’s chariot of the beginning in 1936-1937.

[edit] Virendra Dev Dixit

Baba Virendra Dikşit received the introduction to Raja Yoga as given by the BKIVV in Amedabad, in 1969. He had many doubts about it but neither BK Sarala, the regional in-charge sister, nor senior brothers and sisters from Mt. Abu could answer his questions. From 1969 till 1976 he studied in depth murlis which were spoken through the corporeal medium of Dada Lekhraj. He had the feeling that this knowledge was all true but it was incomplete. On the basis of murli he concluded that Dada Lekhraj must have been guided by someone at the time of establishment of organization. He also believed that after 1969 the Supreme Soul Shiva must be present on the earth till the end of world transformation. Years of studies brought deep insights and understanding, which he revealed personally or through registered mail among BK. In spite of rejection of his ideas by all as result of insanity, a new corporeal chariot of Shiva was introduced. In BKIVV the years 1976-1977 were announced as “the year of Father’s revelation.” Few BK brothers and sisters understood the importance of the knowledge delivered through Baba Dikşit and realized that this was not his own perception but that the Shiva himself clarified secret meaning of murlis. Having been refused entrance to BK centers, Baba Dikşit started his journey around the country. He gave special attention to Delhi. In 1982 after this travel, he opened Adhyatmik Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya in his paternal village Kampil in U.P.

[edit] AIVV

The AIVV believe that the Supreme Soul Shiva conducts the work of world transformation through three actions: creation, destruction and sustenance. The part of creation was initiated through Dada Lekhraj Brahma, and it is continued after Dada’s demise. The next part is the destruction of the old world, old beliefs and vices, which is conducted through the medium of Virendra Dev Dikşit Shankar. The last part – sustenance – is the part of near future.

The picture of Trimurti shows the Supreme Soul Shiva as the point of light along with three deities: Brahma, Shankar, and Vishnu. Images of Vishnu and Shankar here are the same as their images in scriptures, but in the place of Brahma there is an image of Dada Lekhraj instead. BKIVV give the explanations that because Shiva started the task of world transformation though Dada, he is shown in the place where scriptures place Brahma. Regarding the two other images, BKIVV explain the Shiva destroys the old world through Shankar and sustains the new world through Vishny, i.e. Lakshmi and Narayan, but they cannot indicate those who are to play these roles in practical forms. This is the bone of contention between AIVV and BKIVV.

[edit] Destruction

AIVV maintain that at the present time World Mother Kamala Dev Dikşit and World Father Virendra Dev Dikşit play roles of Parvati-Shankar. After the destruction of the old world in the near future they will be recognised as Lakshmi and Narayan confluence age. Those who have recognized the Father, understand His knowledge and make efforts to inculcate virtue and become like deities on the basis of Godly directions (shrimat) will survive the destruction. They will start the new world – heaven, sustained by Shri Lakshmi and Shri Narayan in form of Vishnu. BKIVV do not agree with this.

To understand basic knowledge given by the Supreme Soul Shiva one can take advantage of 7-day courses conducted by BK centers all over the world. Those who would be interested in advance knowledge, can visit the main centers of AIVV in Kampil, Delhi, Calcutta or schools of Gita (Gita patshala) located in various countries The knowledge given by the Supreme Soul in 1951-69 through Dada Lekhraj - Brahma, is known as murli. Murlis, the song of knowledge that sounds like Krishna’s flute, attracts peaceless souls of today’s world. Murlis contains knowledge of the world’s past, present, and future. It is like poetry. Many of these versions were neither explained through Dada Lekhraj nor has anybody tried to understand their deep secret meaning. Since 1976 the Supreme Souls has been explaining them through Prajapita. [Virendra Dev Dikşit]

[edit] Differences in the Teachings between BKWSU and AIVV

The Supreme Soul Shiva said in murli: “I come to Brahma’s body, when he attains vanaprastha stage.” Vanaprastha stage starts at the age of 60. In 1936-37 Dada Lekhraj was 50 year old. Sevak Ram was 60 and it is his body that became the corporeal chariot of Shiva in 1936-37. BKIVV teach that in 1936-37 Dada Lekhraj experienced divine vision but neither he nor his numerous gurus could understand them. BKIVV maintain that the Supreme Souls entered the body of Dada and explained him these visions, but cannot understand how Shiva spoke to Dada. Shiva said in murli that divine vision and divine incarnation are separate. He said also not to keep the photo of Dada Lekhraj [Brahma]. But in spite of this after Dada’s demise his photos had been exposed and are kept in central places in BK centers and houses.

The AIVV believe that after 1969 Shiva continues his task through Vivendra Dev Dixit, however the BKWSU doed not accept this. On the basis of explanations given through the body of Virendra Dev Dikşit [Prajapita or Ram soul] PB Brahmins recognise that it is Shiva who gives knowledge and completes unfinished tasks. Only through Ram does Shiva give His children the inheritance of liberation and liberation in life. Ram’s soul will be recognised by the entire world a World Father - Prajapita, Shankar, Adam and Kamala Dev Dikşit will be recognised as World Mother – Jagadamba, Eva. These are roles that cannot be played by Brahma and Saraswati, because they are not a couple as Adam and Eve. Saraswati was a daughter of Brahma.

Prajapita [Ram] and Brahma Baba [Krishna] are separate souls, who play separate roles. Brahma Baba – Dada Lekhraj will be born as Krishna, first prince of satyuga. His father will be Ram, who plays the role of Prajapita. Having left the body is 1969 Dada Lekhraj did not become complete. He is still in bondage of his subtle body. Only he comes in the body of Gulza Dadi. The Supreme Souls Shiva does not come in Dadi’s body.

However it is important to explain about basic and advanced knowledge. The vital point is that the Narrator at the same Advanced level completes the whole picture of knowledge and gives the answers to questions which cannot be answered on the basic level such as who are the parents of humanity. Depth of understanding depends on individual intellect, faith, and role in the drama.
