Adenau

Adenau [ˈaːdənaʊ] is a town and a municipality in the district of Ahrweiler, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Eifel mountains, approx. 25 km south-west of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. The town is famous because is located at one side of the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring.

Adenau is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Adenau, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):
