Adelphia is an unincorporated area in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States.
Prior to the community being named after the Greek word for "brothers", Adelphia, the area was known as the town of Turkey. The only municipal park within Adelphia is entitled, Turkey Swamp Park.
The community of Adelphia has a total area of 35.41km² (22 mi²) and a population of 17,000 (est.) people. [1]It is the home of the Talmudical Academy of Central New Jersey, Howell Memorial Middle School and Adelphia School.
