Adell Broadcasting Corporation is the owner of WADL-TV 38/DT 39 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. They also operate the Word Network, an urban religious television network. The company was started by Franklin Z. Adell, a Jewish-American resident of Detroit who has gotten much support for his station from the black community and its leaders, such as the Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
