ActiveRoles Server automates user provisioning and ongoing management of users in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Windows. It does that through role-based security and rules to automate user provisioning, re-provisioning, and de-provisioning in Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows.
ActiveRoles Server manages granular access controls, with role-based delegation. The user can audit role definitions, assignments, and permission entries in Active Directory. It has reports for Enterprise-wide review of access rights.
ActiveRoles helps with complying with security policies by creating a security boundary around Active Directory, so organizations can reliably manage AD access rights and guard sensitive information. It enables the integration of business processes and provides a detailed audit trail of all directory related changes.
ActiveRoles Server extends management control to Unix and Linux identities, including users, groups and computers, through the Support Pack for Vintela Authentication Services.
