Actinomycetoma is a mycetomal disease affecting the skin and connective tissue. Mycetomas have two forms: actinomycetoma is the bacterial form, while eumycetoma is caused by fungi.

The Mycetoma Research Center is part of The University of Khartoum, located in Khartoum, Sudan.
